1 lb. salted salmon (wild caught)
5 lg. ripe, peeled tomatoes
1 med. dry onion, finely chopped
1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced (including green tops)
Soak salmon in cold water for 3 hours. Remove skin and bones and shred finely. Mash tomatoes to a pulp. Combine all ingredients and chill. Just before serving, add several cubes of crushed ice. Serve on crackers. This is a traditional Hawaiian recipe given to me by my daughter-in-law, who is Hawaiian.
